This course, part of the Masters of Fine Arts in Computing (MFAC) curriculum, covers digital special effects. Among the topics covered, students learn about digital compositing and image/video morphing. The images seen here are examples of compositing work done using the The Gimp, a free digital image manipulation program similar to Photoshop. Later in the course students write their own digital image manipulation program which features an interactive image warp tool. An example image demonstrates the warping effect.
