Ingredients:

• stewing beef (1 lb)
• onions (2)
• butter (stick, American, not certain about this, seems a trifle too much)
• mushrooms
• pinch of salt

1. Dice up onions and place with butter into pot. On medium, cook until onions are golden brown.
2. Add beef, stirring occasionally. When beef turns white, add mushrooms.
3. Add beef stew spices (??) for flavor.
4. Let simmer.
